I had plastic surgery that cost $70,000 to make me look like a Ken doll, and now I want more

A self-proclaimed ‘Human Ken Doll,’ David Kosir has spent roughly $70K on cosmetic surgeries to achieve a doll-like look. After being motivated by social media, he has gone under the knife several times to get a nose job, new teeth, a hair transplant, and laser freckle removal.

Notably, the 27-year-old started his plastic makeover in 2019 when he tried fillers for the first time.

Then, in May 2021, Kosir had a $9K rhinoplasty done at home in Melbourne to make the change permanent. In July, he spent $17K on veneers for his top teeth and $5,000 on caps for his bottom teeth in Turkey. When he saw that bleaching had hurt his hair, he returned to Turkey and paid $9K for a hair transplant.

Kosir has since also splurged on luxury massages every eight weeks, costing $700, and laser freckle remover every three months costing $2000.

"I do like the fake, plastic look. I want to look like a real male Barbie doll, like Ken. That would be the best way for me to look. I first got lip filler, then filler in my cheeks, and then filler in my jaw and chin. He told Kennedy News, "At first, I didn't have any plans, but I've never liked my nose, so I've always known I wanted to change it."

He added: “Everything else has just been discovering it and then going, I’ll give it a shot and then just doing it. It’s very spontaneous really.”

"I was looking at social media and thought, 'These teeth look nice; what are these? Veneers and crowns. What do they mean? I looked into it and thought, "I should do that." Kosir has spent $68,539 on his looks in the last three years. He is taking a break from fluff, but he isn't done making significant changes.

He plans to return to Turkey to have five painful face surgeries that will cost $14,000.

Kosir plans to have a fox eye lift, a temple and cheek lift, a fat transfer to many parts of his face, and a lower blepharoplasty [eyelid reduction] to finish his makeover. So far, he has no regrets, and his face has changed so much that he can't tell what it looked like before the surgery. Even though he gets a lot of mean comments online, he plans to keep sharing his changes to inspire others.

He told them, "If there's something you want to do, it doesn't matter if people will judge you for it. You have to be happy with yourself and live your life."
