When you have double standards, you treat one set of individuals differently than another group in the same scenario or with the same regulation. There are more double standards regarding how men and women are treated than in any other area of our life. The most startling part is that we regularly use these standards on the people around us without even realizing it.
We want everyone to stop using two different sets of rules, but before we do that, let's see if we do the same thing.
