When we hear "bodybuilding," we usually think of a man with a big, muscular body. But have you ever thought of a woman who builds muscle? It's pretty strange. And what if we told you that there are women who make strength? You probably won't believe us the first time we tell you something.
Bodybuilding is a subculture usually marked by big biceps, visible veins, and workouts that go on and on for hours. But our stereotypes about women don't even make us think of them as bodybuilders. If a woman does this to stand out, she will likely be looked at or insulted right in front of her. Imagine putting in a lot of hard work to get that building, only to have it all fall in a single second. We probably wouldn't do something like this if you had asked us. We want our hard work to be well-spent!
But you'd be surprised to learn that there are a lot of brave women who work hard to become bodybuilders. And they do this because they want to stand out. We are proud of how hard they worked. You've seen these women, and you're probably speechless right now. Because it takes a lot of guts to do bodybuilding as a woman. And you already know that people will say things like, "Are you a man?" or "Are you from another planet?" So, we appreciate all of these women, and we think you should do the same whenever you see one of them.
