Fruits come to life when an artist paints them as watercolor characters

Marija Tiurina is an illustrator and concept artist who lives and works in London. She uses fresh fruits and vegetables to make watercolour characters that are all their own.

She says the fantastic variety of fruits and vegetables at a greengrocer in London inspired her the most: "I've been picking green foods that I found interesting and inspiring and making characters out of them." Simple!"
