This photographer uses only the human body to make stunning "bodyscapes."

Carl Warner is a photographer, artist, and food lover. He often makes intricate landscapes from unusual things like food, furniture, and clothes. And in a project called Bodyscapes, he went a step further and used natural human bodies!

The artist says he first went to college to become an illustrator but then switched to photography because it was "much faster to work in." Carl says he loves taking pictures of things that most people wouldn't look at twice and that he loves finding beauty in things most people overlook. The photographer says, "When I make landscapes out of what's in my fridge or cities out of seashells or car parts, I'm more of a photographic illustrator who makes something out of nothing. I change one thing into another by just arranging and lighting it."

Carl's Bodyscapes project used people's bodies to make landscapes that looked like they were from another world. Even though he sketched out the compositions before the photoshoots, when he picked up the camera and started taking pictures, he saw different shapes that he liked and used them in his pictures. The photographer used tungsten and flash lighting to make the landscapes look more natural, and the results are stunning.

Below, you can see some of Carl Warner's beautiful Bodyscapes.
