Recent research shows that 44% of Americans who don't already have children say they don't think they will. More than half (56%) said they didn't want to have kids, while only 17% said it was because of money. So it's about more than money or the lack of it. But it has more to do with personal choices and not wanting to be too busy as a parent.
Recently, more and more people have chosen to live without children. Unfortunately, they still have to deal with nagging from people who believe in patriarchy and think every woman wants to have children. But they don't let the patriarchal talk make them feel bad. They deal with it by making fun of it. The Facebook page called "Childfree Humor" does this exact thing. It's "for people who don't care much about kids and want to have a good laugh about it."
