An Austrian artist was sent to jail because of his controversial drawings, but that didn't stop him from drawing the truth.

Gerhard Haderer is a well-known craftsman from Austria. He began his career as an artist for advertising agencies. When Haderer got tired of working on business projects in 1985, he devoted himself to satirical drawing. He has drawn a lot of real cartoons for more than 30 years. In 2005, because of his book The Life of Jesus, he was sentenced to half a year for obscenity. Even so, that didn't stop Haderer from developing new ideas. The 67-year-old Austrian artist kept drawing the cutting-edge world with all his heart and courage, even though he was going against the norm. In the monthly comic book MOFF, which Scherz and Schund Fabrik publish, he also focuses on important political and social issues.

Haderer did all of his work with a lot of skill and courage and didn't hesitate to show things as they were.
