Artist David Zinn lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is known worldwide for making "temporary art" right where he stands. David's drawings on the street are made entirely of chalk, charcoal, and other things he finds on the ground. Because of this, rain can easily wash away his art. Zinn can make beautiful pictures out of cracks, holes, and tiny grooves because he has a great imagination and is a good artist.

Characters like Sluggo, a bright green monster, and Philomena, a flying pig, which make people smile as they walk by, have made the streets more attractive.
