The first-ever beauty contest without makeup was held in London. The participants didn't even wear lip gloss

An oral health nurse was the first winner of a "no-makeup beauty contest." Natasha Beresford, 26 years old, was named Miss London 2023 in the regional Miss England pageant. The competition had a girls' no-makeup competition for the first time in its 95-year history. Nineteen British women competed. They all walked the runway with clean faces and clothes inspired by bohemian style and made from eco-friendly materials. On September 30, the race took its last turn.

Natasha Beresford won the title of Miss England Without Makeup.

The judges thought Natasha looked beautiful in a white lace dress from the British eco-friendly brand Shikoba Bride. Natasha will participate in the Miss England finals later this year after she wins the Miss London title.

In the past, contestants were asked to send pictures without any filters or makeup. But this year, because of a new part of the competition, they weren't even allowed to wear lip gloss while on the podium. The supporters said it's meant to give women more power, boost their confidence, and encourage a more natural look.
